Bristow Verification 2023
Summary
helicopter services in Bergen was conducted 25th of January 2023. The objective was to verification the
planning and readiness related to the SoW delivery for the helicopter services, ref. contract no. WE-LM-
008.
The verification was carried out by document verifications and by interviewing representatives from
Bristow, organised as a group interview meeting, at Bristow’s facilities at Bergen Heliport, Flesland. A visit
at the heliport and helicopter hangar was also conducted. A separate meeting was held with the S&C
Manager to go through some of the HSE topics and the findings after the Offshore Norway Joint audit.
The verification was well facilitated by Bristow and everyone participating were positive and open during
the interviews.
The verification team identified four (4) observations, two (2) improvement suggestions and four (4)
actions. The findings are listed in chapter 4. None of the findings are critical for the operation.
Bristow is requested to respond within two weeks after receiving this report on how they intend to handle
the findings and send Wellesley the required information.

0-1 The terms and conditions are dated 2016.
The Transparency Act came in 2022. Bristow should evaluate to include requirements in the Transparency Act in the terms and conditions.Answer from Bristow: Bristow has presented this to our legal department to have them evaluate including The Transparency Act into our Terms and Conditions for future revisions.

0-2 The Transparency Act requires enterprises to conduct due diligence assessments, meaning that they must look at both their own business, their supply chain and their business partners to find out where the biggest risks are.

0-3 An operation specific risk register was not yet prepared. This should be forwarded to the operator before spud.

0-4 The criticality of the ASR reports was not specified and makes it therefore difficult to prioritize and set closure date.

IMP-1 Bristow Norway does not have an overview of business risks for Norway, but several risk registers for different areas. The management should have an overview of business risks.
IMP-2 Targets are not specific for several of the KPI’s and there is no KPI on spills to the environment. The Carmen Scorecard will include targets that are numbered and will also include spills to the environment. Suggest updating KPI’s for Bristow Norway.
