COSLPromoter – Rig Inspection Report
Summary
service personnel during the verification. All persons involved from each company were open,
extremely helpful and positive.
The rig was on location on the 33/9-F-4 BH well performing BOP testing and wellhead cleanup
operations during 21/03/2024 prior to running upper completion. On the evening 21/03/2024 the rig
disconnected the LMRP from the BOP due to weather and started WOW.
The overall impression of the RIT is that the rig is effectively managed by CDE, rig equipment is in
uniformly good condition and housekeeping is maintained at a very high standard. A common
unprompted theme while talking to all personnel, whether service, CDE or Operator was the positive
culture on the rig. A positive culture starts with positive leadership. This culture is one that both the
current operator Equinor, the CDE rig management and all individuals on board should be justly
proud of.
The RIT identified 17 findings: 0 non-conformances, 6 observations and 11 improvement
suggestions. The findings are described in Chapter 4 and summed up in an action list for follow up
in chapter 5.1. None of the findings are considered critical for the upcoming operations.
