What happened in Top hole:
Due to problems with cement around the conductor and movement in conductor a clamp-on inclinometer from Oceaneering was sent out. It was difficult to install around the conductor and does not allow for cuttings laying around the conductor when installing. Not suitable for installation subsea, should be installed on surface. It was also difficult to read numbers when movement.

What Was Planned

No inclinometer was planned. Only planned for measuring the inclination of the WH with the bullseye on the WHRT.

What Was Learned

Difficult to install the clamp-on inclinometer subsea. Easier to install three-leg WH inclinometer from Oceaneering subsea. Difficult to read off values of the inclinometer when movement in conductor.

What Actions Are Required

If WH already installed without an installed tool for measuring inclination, evaluate to use a three-leg WH inclinometer from Oceaneering that can be installed subsea.
