What happened:
When cement was in place and 10 MT weight was slacked off conductor to set it on bottom, noticed the Hook load varied quite a bit from 60-70 MT, going up and down. Not good while waiting on cement to set up around the conductor. Lifted conductor off bottom, turned off active heave, set conductor on bottom again with passive heave compensator.
What was planned:
Use active heave compensator to stab 30 in conductor into seabed.
What was learned:
Remember to turn off active heave once stabbed conductor into seabed.
What actions are required:
Should include a reminder to turn off active heave compensator in DOPs in the future.
