What happened in Prelay:
By using 41deg fluke angles the anchors would not hold the required test tension

What Was Planned

During prelay of anchors at Oselvar, fluke angles on the anchors was set to 41deg based on mooring analysis an interpretation of CPT data.

What Was Learned

After several failures to install anchors with 41deg fluke angle, descition was made to change fluke angle to 32deg. This was very succesfull and all anchors was easily installed

What Actions Are Required

For Gomez which is close to Oselvar and is expected to have the same soil condition, fluke angles will be set to 32deg prior to mobilisation and installation offshore.
