What happened in Surface section:
Ran MPT tool dressed to pull extended wear bushing. Successfully engaged and sheared out but hung up in lower annular annular. Retrieved by pumping up choke line to wash wear bushing while pulling.

What Was Planned

Pull extended wear bushing prior to running 9 5/8″ casing

What Was Learned

Wear bushing and DrilQuip MPT were both packed off with cuttings when retrieved to surface. RIH jet sub and jetted wellhead and surface casing down to 3m past 13 3/8″ x 20″ crossover.

What Actions Are Required

Consider in future running jet sub minimum 1 stand below MPT. Jet not only BOP but wellhead, wear bushing itself before unlatching and surface casing all the way down to 13 3/8″ x 20″ crossover before attempting to unlatch and pull through BOP into riser.
