What happened:
When the conductor was lowered to the seabed it was realised that a blanking plate from the Wellhead housing had not been installed. The running tool was recovered to the moonpool and the blanking plate installed. The extra trippingresulted in approx 2 hrs of additional rig time.
What was planned:
It was planned to run the conductor & LPWHH without a PGB.
This necessitated the use of inclinometers ounted to th erunning tool.
What was learned:
Pre deployment checks had not been completed by drillquip.
What actions are required:
Drillquip to formalise pre deployment checks with checklist
