Copernicus (6608/1-1 S) – Rig move
What happened:
Bridge and marine reps was not informed from DSV or DE when required spud equipment was taken onboard. Marine reps had to find out on their own. Spud boat was then sent off and remaining DP trials was initiated so that rig was ready for spud when drilling dept. was ready for spud.
What was planned:
When arriving Copernicus, DP trials should be carried out so that Sud Boat could work alongside rig.
The remaining of the DP trials to be ready for spud should be done after all required spud equipment had been taken onboard the rig
What was learned:
If marine reps had not actively gathered information from DSV and DE, rig would not have been ready for spud when drilling dept was ready for spud. That would have caused several hours of waiting for the rig to be ready with the DP trials.
