What happened:

The MDT was successfully fished with pipe after getting stuck but junk from the Saturn probe was left downhole.
A junk mill run was made on drillpipe to circulate out swabbed gas, mill up the junk and condition the borehole before rerunning the MDT.

What was learned:

If a WIRELINE fishing magnet had been available on the rig, a wireline magnet fishing run could have been made between POOH with the mill and rerunning the MDT. This is relatively fast to rig up for, run and rig down. No guarantees, but it might have retrieved some more loose junk left on bottom after milling before deepening the well.

What actions are required:

Review with shorebased Schlumberger co-ordinator possibilities / options / costs for mobilising a contingency wireline fishing magnet with the MDT package. If it is within reach, we have the choice to run it.
