Negative Cut & pull LL with Wellesley

Schweinsteiger (6204/11-3) – P&A

What happened:

Ran through BOP while jetting from top of BOP and landed out on top of wear bushing without hanging up. Pulled wear ushing free and hung up in lower annular on the way out. Had to work past lower annular.
Rig was all centered prior to RIH and had flushed through BOP at high rate using MPT with jetting sub below.

What was planned:

Retrieve 9 5/8″ wear bushing

What was learned:

Issue with annulars on Schaffer BOP’s even when running DQ MPT which is specially design to avoid hanging up in the BOP.

What actions are required:

Both annulars to be opened up during rig lay up in Feda Fjorden.
