What happened:
RMR external adapter in place. Not possible to easily access profile and install VX gasket without lifting the SMO (suction module)
What was planned:
Install VX Gasket on top of HPH before running stinger for cement job to protect the profile
What was learned:
Possible to modify an old gasket to be able to run it offline with the ROV and the moonpool winch
What actions are required:
Drill 3 holes at 120 degrees in an old gasket, threading them for loctited eyebolts then running the gasket on ropes with a moonpool winch. The ROV then guided the gasket into position and released the winch and ropes. Saved 1,5 hrs.
