Falstaff (2/6-7 S) – Top hole

What happened:

Both TFMC and Mitsui numbers marked on joints. TFMC rig numbers marked but with prefix TFMC making it less easy to read.

What was planned:

Perform all measurements and numbering of landing string tubulars in town before shipment. Landing string marked with white collar (primary) or green collar (back-up). All numbers marked twice at 180 deg to ensure visibility from above.

What was learned:

Agree in town the correct length and mark with one length only to avoid confusion on the rig and when running. Do not use TFMC prefix, mark with only the agreed running number. Good to mark landing joints and number to ensure visibility.

What actions are required:

For future operation send out joints as requested with only one length/tally number.
