Kjøttkake (35/10-13) – P&A

What happened:

Indication of cut was not recognized. Decided to POOH and run in with B/U cutting eq. with marine swivel. Managed to cut the casing with BU equipment after 53 minutes.

What was planned:

Cut 9 5/8 casing with Tempest cutter.

What was learned:

After checking pressure plot (after job was done) it was assumed that the casing was cut at the first run with the tempest cutter. It is important to take refence pressure and compare against same prior to pulling out. Since there was observed a pressure drop at the first cutting run as well.

What actions are required:

WFD to follow up internal. Important to give sufficient training for WFD hands on the Ardyne equipment now owned by Weatherford.
