What happened:

When cementer was dropping/pushing CST into DP filled with OBM “splashed” out of pipe and spilled on cementers face.

What was planned:

Running CST

What was learned:

Mud in pipe must be removed before trying to force anything in the pipe, as the CST or any other object displace the mud, the mud must go somewhere, and it will spill where cementers are standing.

What actions are required:

Either pump slug prior to installing CST or remove mud with vacum.
Should implement to run slug prior to installing in future DOP’s.
