What happened:

MW keeps increasing, having to add a lot of premix. Ran short on premix and had to mix in water to keep MW down. Mud out of spec once at TD and had to displace to new 1.30 sg WBM prior to POOH and running 20” casing.

What was planned:

Drilling 26″ hole with RMR 1.30 sg WBM

What was learned:

Need more premix.

(Note: Not a viable option to drill with lower MW than 1.30 sg, as adding premix will be less effective.)

A centrifuge would be helpful to keep MW at 1.30 sg

What actions are required:

Plan for having more premix at disposal.

Evaluate need vs cost of centrifuge.
