What happened in Top hole:
The base and boat backloaded the primary and secondary 18 3/4″ WHHs instead of two 30″ conductor joints. As experienced by the DE, the duty at Saga Fjordbase had his first day on duty in addition he seemed new in his job.

What Was Planned

Send Stril Mar to Saga Fjordbase and backload 2 B/U 30″ conductor joints and load some equipment, then sail out again to the rig.

What Was Learned

Be careful when backloading something that may be misunderstood as something else, since the 18 3/4″ WHHs looks a bit similar to the 30″ conductor joints, especially for new duty personnel at the base.

What Actions Are Required

This has to be taken up with the base or similar, because the manifests and instructions were correct.
Also, when we know the duty at the base is relatively new, it’s important to have a close eye to what’s done with the boat when it has been at the base. This is also relevant for our logistic duty, to have a close contact with the base.
