What happened in Subsea work:
The POB got maxed out and there were no Covid-19 emergency cabins available at the time. Also, a high pressure on availability of day cabins and the subsea trainee did go on night shift initially. When an open day cabin came in place one day, Dolphin moved the subsea trainee over to day shift.

What Was Planned

There were planned prior to operation to have two medics offshore within the first crew change for a week and one extra subsea trainee.

What Was Learned

Limit people on board and make a more robust plan in advance and look at least a week in the future. Also, much better coordination with Dolphin of what type of extra personnel they are gonna have on board, for example the extra medic and subsea trainee. Without them on board, there would have been no issue with the POB.

What Actions Are Required

Sit down with Dolphin and have an open dialogue if they are gonna have extra personnel on board for some reason. This has at least to go though the Drilling Engineer offshore and should ideally be discussed with the Superintendent and Lead Drilling Engineer onshore, too.

What Was Done

Had to shift over the subsea trainee to night shift again, which is not ideal for anyone to change from night to day to night within two days. Also, one Welltec tractor personnel slept on the sofa that night due no day bed, but he got appointed a night bed that he did not want to use.
