What happened in Intermediate section:
4-string contingency scenario was miscommunicated and we did not have the 13 3/8″ SSRII landing collars prepared (only stab-in float collar)

What Was Planned

The float equipment and casing hanger/wellhead for base case 3-string well was planned with respective service companies.

What Was Learned

The equipment was still prepared in time for the well, but missed during earlier stages of planning.

It is important that all contingency options are communicated clearly together with service companies during early discussions, to ensure long lead items are secured ahead of time

What Actions Are Required

Clear communication systems during early planning for all potential outcomes (3-string/4-string dry hole/discovery) of the operation.

What Was Done

As a result, a primary and back-up landing collar was produced at a later date (Haliburton Cement/Mitsui), together with a 6 5/8″ Reg pin x ST-57 box XO (Phoenix Rentals) for the casing hanger running tool.
