What happened:

Logged liner cement with USIT/CBL. Initial evaluation results offshore showed bad/no cement present. Evaluating the results onshore, accounting for logging in lower density fluid inside liner than fluid in annulus and interpreting results from USIT and CBL against each other the cement was confirmed present and in place.

What was planned:

Perform USIT log of 7″ liner cement

What was learned:

A high fluid loss to the high permeable zone in the Sognefjord fm most likely dried out the cement slurry more rapidly than normal, resulting in poorer cement in this interval.

In addition performing a USIT log in a lower density fluid than the casing was cement in may increase the likelihood of the log showing bad bonding.

What actions are required:

Evaluate to perform USIT/CBL logging with same density fluid inside the casing/liner as was used when cementing the casing/liner.
