What happened in P&A:
Two fingers have been torn off the protective sleeve/ retainer ring on the SSTT. One finger was recovered on the tool. The other finger is lost in the hole. The other one was found on the sea bed. There was also damages on 4 hoses between RV and Latch ( Shear joint area)

What Was Planned

POOH SSTT Landing string Assembly

What Was Learned

Bad Weather caused SSTT to be damaged inside the marine riser when SSTT / THRT was disconnected and pulled up to approx 2m above flex joint. WOW for almost 2 days ( 43,5hours) before LMRP was disconnected. Max heave seen was 7, 4 meters the last hours before LMRP was disconnected. this means that the SSTT landing string was sliding up and down inside the marine riser during this time.
(When POOH the SSTT hung up in Annular-Flexjoint area)

What Actions Are Required

Removed the protective sleeve/ retainer ring.
Replaced the damaged hoses.
Pressure tested hydraulic lines SSTT
Function tested SSTT

What Was Done

POOH SSTT Landing string Assembly
